TAXIDERMY, BONES & FEATHERS

TAXIDERMY, BONES & FEATHERS
A miscellany and a gallery - these are obviously unique, but we can source anything you may require.

Stock is changing constantly - please email for current list.

The laws around taxidermy are complex, but every item we sell her complies fully with current UK laws, and certificates are obtained where necessary.

Overseas clients please contact us before ordering to ensure that Local laws & Customs regulations are complied with.

Please see also our bones & skins section.

EUROPEAN JAY
EUROPEAN JAY
Garrulus glandarius - a relatively shy woodland visitor instantly recognisable from the flash of blue on the wings. A member of the crow family.

This one is a slightly older example and has a bit of feather thinning on the head (don't we all?!), but is still in lovely condition overall.

As with all our taxidermy we will endeavour to keep at least one in stock, and update the pictures as they find new homes!

ROOK - CROW FAMILY
ROOK - CROW FAMILY
Rook - Corvus frugilegus (food-gathering in vulgate Latin) - the bare face is thought to be an evolutionary trait as these are carrion-processors, and facial feathers would be rubbed or broken.

The Crow family has associations with death or the gateway to the other world in many traditions.

We will let you know what we have in stock on enquiry.
